Pharmacy Benefit

Still paying full price for your prescriptions? Every month, participating Southwestern Electric Cooperative members are saving an average of 30% on their prescription medicines, and you can too! Your Co-op Connections card entitles you to discounts of 10-85% on prescription drugs at more than 60,000 national pharmacy locations, including CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart and Target. It’s just another free benefit of Southwestern Electric Cooperative membership.

Prescription Savings in 3 Easy Steps

Step 1: Find a Participating Pharmacy. You can do this online or by telephone.

  • Online: Go to, enter the group number 22203 under the “Groups” login section, and click the “Search” button in the upper-left corner of the page.
  • By Telephone: Call the program’s Member Service hotline at (800) 800-7616. The phones are staffed Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Step 2: Compare Prices. Visit to look up prices of prescription medicines by pharmacy location. Please do not call the pharmacies for price quotes: prices may change from day to day and cannot be given over the telephone.

Step 3: Go to the Pharmacy. Present your Co-op Connections Card and prescriptions to the pharmacist. When the prescription is processed, the pharmacy’s computer system will compare the Co-op Connections discount price with the regular retail price. You will pay the lower of the two prices at the point of sale.

The pharmacy benefit is not insurance, and are not intended as a substitute for insurance. The card cannot be used in conjunction with insurance, but you can use it to purchase—at a discount—prescriptions not covered by your insurance plan.
