Moving into a home served by Southwestern Electric Cooperative's power lines? Building a new home served by our lines? 

Great! We look forward to helping you make the most of your energy dollar. To apply for membership, please contact our member records clerk, at (800) 637-8667. Our office hours are M-F, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

If you'd like to expedite the application process, you're welcome to download and return a member application from this page.

After you've completed your membership application, you can return it by fax or mail. Forms may be faxed to 618.664.1124.

Three important points: First, please make sure your application is filled out completely and signed. We can't process your application until it's complete and bears your signature.

Second, if you're building a home or business that will be served by Southwestern, you need to contact our engineering department. Call us at 800.637.8667 and ask for engineering. They'll have additional information for you.

Finally, if you've returned your form but haven't heard from us, please take a moment to call or email. We may not have received your form.
