A message from CEO Bobby Williams
Dear Southwestern Electric Member,
I hope you’re staying safe and healthy through these trying times.
By now, I’m sure you’ve heard Governor Pritzker has extended the shelter in place order through April 30th. In turn, Southwestern Electric will continue to operate using the remote work plan we initiated March 23. Our building remains closed, and our workforce will continue to answer your calls and respond to your questions from in-home offices across our service area.
Our line crews are responding to outages, just as they always do. And our training and technology ensure we’ll continue to provide safe, reliable service to your home or business.
During this time, we encourage you to manage your account, report outages and make payments using our online payment portal, by using the SWEC IL app, or by calling us at (800) 637-8667.
We’ll keep you informed of the latest developments through posts on our website at sweci.com/news-information.
As a community, we can curb the spread of the coronavirus and work toward a swift recovery for Southwestern Illinois.
Thank you for helping us do our part.
